Vantive (VNTV) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – Vantive is an integrated online payment processor. Basically a mini-First Data Corporation.

Vocera (VCRA) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – Vocera provides mobile communications solutions, mostly for hospitals using their own hardware and software. Kind of a smart Nextel.

CafePress (PRSS) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – CafePress is an ecommerce and custom printing company. Products tend to be expensive and the company relies on regular promotions and discounting.

Millennial Media (MM) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – Mobile advertising platform.

ExactTarget (ET) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – ExactTarget provides email and online marketing services similar to those of Constant Contact (CTCT) and MailChimp.

M/A-COM (MTSI) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – Analog semiconductor company. Typically solid investments as analog chips are less commoditized and analog engineers are relatively scarce.

Enphase (BRSE) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – BrightSource builds concentrated solar energy fields that create thermal rather than electric energy. The deal was withdrawn.

Caesarstone (CSTE) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – Caesarstone makes quartz countertops. Superior to other materials like marble and granite. Key to long term success is ability to build the brand.

BrightSource (BRSE) IPO Roadshow March 2012 ($) – BrightSource builds concentrated solar energy fields that create thermal rather than electric energy. The deal was withdrawn.

Proto Labs (PRLB) IPO Roadshow February 2012 ($) – Proto Labs provides rapid manufacturing services. Along with 3D printing this is an interesting long-term growth area.

Greenway (GWAY) IPO Roadshow February 2012 ($) – Greenway provides an integrated technology solution for a large segment of the healthcare market.

Caesar’s Entertainment (CZR) IPO Roadshow February 2012 ($) – Large and diversified gaming and entertainment company.

Merrimack Pharmaceuticals (MMAC) IPO Roadshow February 2012 ($) – Provides both a drug discovery platform using “network biology” and also has several drug candidates in various stages of potential approval.

Synacore (SYNC) IPO Roadshow February 2012 ($) – Provides data services and infrastructure to mobile communications services companies and carriers.

BrightCove (BCOV) IPO Roadshow February 2012 ($) – BrightCove provides a video publishing and management platform.

Erickson Air-Crane (EAC) IPO Roadshow February 2012 ($) – Owns and operates helicopter air crane. Probably cyclical business but pretty cool. This is the original February Presentation.

Ceres (CERE) IPO Roadshow February 2012 ($) – Ceres is a bioengineering company that emphasizes fuel-based crop improvements Monsanto is an investor.
